Spring 2021 Designs 


Resume Project:


This resume has strong design elements, particularly the mirroring triangles in different shades of pink. This gives the resume a cohesive and matching look. The bold color blocking and shapes grabs the viewer's attention.


Flyer Project: 


This flyer uses a strong central image, in this case a melting Earth, to convey a message. The Earth being black and white also spreads the message that the planet is in danger. The headlines are short and catchy and the colors alternate to create a visually appealing piece. 


Brochure Project: 





This gate fold design uses a gradient background with black text. The pictures on the panels do not line up, but rather alternate to create a visual break. There is also consistent use of different shades of green throughout that pulls the brochure together. 


Postcard Project:


This design uses a pattern (the stars), wrap text, and repetition. The text box and background are two different shades of blue, that ties into the blue in the image. There is also that same blue in the stars at the bottom. The use of blue and black exclusively (aside from the image) creates a clean, put together design. 


Logo Project:


The logo design, shown in both color and black and white, uses a play on the name and has a spade image. This goes with the playing card theme, along with the word ace and the font which models a playing card. The color blocking draws the eye in and creates a strong design.

 Climate change is defined by NASA as a long-term change in the average weather patterns that have come to define Earth's local, regional, and and global climates. Scientist name the greenhouse effect as the cause, and human activity helped to increase this process. The greenhouse effect is when gases in the atmosphere trap heat. These gases include water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and chlorofluorocarbons. Human activities that have contributed to climate change include burning fossil fuels such as coal and oil and clearing land.
