      Self Promotion is key when it comes to entering the work force. For the postcard project, this design was intended to be simple and visually appealing. There is a repetition of blue throughout the design that ties the whole thing together. There is also repetition with the star graphics at the bottom. These details help to make the piece cohesive. 

 Orion Ace is a planned Public Relations company specialized in small, local businesses and aiming to increase name recognition and sales. Orion Ace mainly focuses on customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and social media management. However, the company is no stranger to crisis management.  The company's name, particularly the "ace" part, refers to the company high goals and hard work ethic - the mindset of success. Orion Ace strives to take small businesses owned by WNY locals and set them up for a successful, profitable future via social media, sale, and customer service methods.  Everyone knows that dog is man's best friend. Dogs are part of the family, and you want to take them everywhere with you. As it continues to warm up, people in Western New York are looking for ways to have fun outdoors and include their pets. While it isn't always easy to find dog friendly places, such as parks, trails, and even restaurants, Buffalo does have some great spots to take your dog and have some fun! This brochure project will highlight some of the best spots to take your dog in the area. These spots will include parks, trails, and businesses to give a variety and appeal to more people.      The brochure will be trifold, and will list the places in the respective categories chosen by the group. There will also be pictures of the places listed, and of dogs to convey the dog friendly message to the viewer.  The colors will be light and happy, and the visuals will go around the text.  Climate change is defined by NASA as a long-term change in the average weather patterns that have come to define Earth's local, regional, and and global climates. Scientist name the greenhouse effect as the cause, and human activity helped to increase this process. The greenhouse effect is when gases in the atmosphere trap heat. These gases include water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and chlorofluorocarbons. Human activities that have contributed to climate change include burning fossil fuels such as coal and oil and clearing land. A panel on climate change concluded a 95% probability that human-produced greenhouse gases have greatly contributed to the past 50 years of Earth's increasing temperatures.  The effects of climate change continue to be seen.       In the last ten years much progress has been made regarding the transgender community. There is more awareness than ever and even representation in popular media such as actress Laverne Cox, actor Elliot Page, and Youtuber NikkiTutorials. Just recently the ban of transgender people in the military was reversed. While all of these are good things, the work is nowhere near done. There are many issues facing the transgender community today. Some of these issues include mental health, economics, healthcare, discrimination,  and safety. The transgender community needs support from allies to fight for the right to be who they are and be treated equally.     Many of the issues facing the community come down to discrimination. Transgender people, especially those of color, are disproportionately affected by discrimination.  They  are often discriminated against by health care professionals, resulting in improper care and a higher rate of health...

    Resumes are a great tool to show possible employers why you would be a great fit for a job. Most people have resumes, however they may be out of date or very simple. This resume is one based off of a template, it is very simple and not eye-catching.      When planning a new resume, originality can be a very important factor. It is important to plan ahead and think about what you want you resume to look like. Resumes are supposed to be visually appealing. In this thumbnail example below, there are eight different ideas for resume layouts. Some are more simple, some more complex. However, the commonality is that most of the layout involve large blocks of space. The spaces are kept separate in almost evert one, typically in boxes.
